The DRM open technology can be introduced in any frequency broadcasting band below and above 30 MHz and is the best for covering full countries and large areas and countries like Kenya. Apart from spectrum and electricity advantages, DRM allows for upgrading, extending existing radio infrastructure rather than building a wholly new one.
